Good value, minor hiccups

I picked up the whiteboard animation software during a launch special, and it was a good deal for the features included. The AI image to doodle converter worked surprisingly well on some of my logos. However, I did notice the multi-language doodle videos feature could use a bit more polish; some of the translations felt a little stiff. From my experience, InstaDoodle's AI stuff for generating doodles and backgrounds is a big time-saver compared to Doodly. Doodly feels a bit more manual sometimes.

I think InstaDoodle gives you more flexibility with custom sketches if you're into that. Doodly is good but felt a bit more limited creatively for what I wanted to do.

The basic front-end is pretty good to start. You can make plenty of videos. The upsells usually add more templates or advanced features like the agency dashboard, which you might not need right away.

For basic explainer videos, the front-end is totally fine. I only upgraded later when I wanted more custom doodle options and to remove video backgrounds, but it's not essential initially.
